Related/ unrelated....I was personally effected by the deployment of SMART meters in my neighborhood in the fall of 2019, right before COVID. I came down with symptoms during the shutdown. I was 52 at the time. I have been struggling with the question of EMF sensitivity vs. menopause for the past six years. I certainly feel better when I am not exposed to radiation, but I still have hot flashes and disturbed sleep, etc... even in an EMF free environment. I am wondering if the Women's Health Initiative study was purposefully cut short with headlines declaring Hormone Replacement Therapy to cause health issues, when, in fact, estrogen is protective for the brain, the heart, the bones, really everything. The radiation limits were raised in 1996 and the WHI study report came out in 2001. I have been reading Avrum Blumen's book "Estrogen Matters: Why Taking Hormones in Menopause Can Improve Women's Well-Being and Lengthen Their Lives -- Without Raising the Risk of Breast Cancer (2024 Revised and Updated Edition)" where he reports that the FDA wanted to get women off HRT.
