Thank you for mentioning Dr. Henry Lai - unfortunately his research was suppressed as Big Telecomm used the Big Tobacco smear campaign against him, discrediting his research. Just as "doubt is their product"....reasonable doubt needs to be ours, and you are building that case.

Re: "McLeod’s team was observing the downstream effect of a pathway that wouldn’t be fully mapped for another two decades." Let's also consider a reality where, these effect paths were mapped out quite early on...by military/mafia scientists.

Whenever the research on a subject goes silent for no clear reason…
Only needed to post guards at a few key locations. That policy worked for quite awhile. Now good people like you get to go to work.
